The PDS-3000, designed for Smith RPM Spray Bar dampeners, is a premium quality mixing and supply system featuring total system redundancy. There are two Electronic-Volumetric mixing systems and two supply pumps under a single cabinet altering duties when in
automatic mode. These alternating systems also act as a back-up to one another assuring a constant supply through the dampeners. The entire system is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), which
includes a 2-line enunciator panel constantly monitoring all PDS-3000 functions. The PLC alerts the operator of problems via a visual alarm.
The PDS-3000 features two Electronic-Volumetric metering pumps injecting precise amounts of fountain solution into the water stream. Self-activating level controls, interfaced with these pumps,
provide automatic filling. Fountain solution is pumped directly from drums / totes, circulates through the siphon probe and then returns to the drums / totes.
To assure continuous flow of dampening solution through the spray bars, two double diaphragm pumps alternate to pressurize and circulate the fluid. The solution is filtered as it leaves and before it
returns to the circulator. The press-ready solution is stored in an easy-to-clean tank.
